Hia, I'm George Maund. I have made, will continue to make, and currently am making
music
_____ out of my studio space here in Liverpool, UK.

I'm deep into:
long-form composition,
a guitar practise I call 'zen shredding',
new soundworlds of texture, timbre & sampling,
musics from different times and/or places to my own,
the power of dynamic extremes (how loud or quiet can you go?)

Maybe you know me from a way-back band called Shit the Bed,
or when I played bass in Indica Ritual,
or through Stig Noise Sound System shows,
or when I've been on tour with a.P.A.t.T.,
or from playing Mallet Guitars 1, 2 or 3 in Ex-Easter Island Head,
or when I've done a solo show as Big Effigy, or Pariah Qarey before that,
or when Real Talk played at the top of the stairs at the end of the night in the Kazimier,
or when Mother Earth did a gig in our lounge on New Year's Eve,
or when Other Earth played into soaking wet smoke,
or when I humblebragged my way thru a chunkload of html?

Ah, peace!
Now, to the future. I will be updating this site as I go about my business in these coming spring months, as things thaw out and the due process really starts to reveal itself in 2013.
